What is Early Family Dispute Resolution?
In many cases, family law matters can be settled out of court, which can save you time, money, and emotional stress. In mediation, both parties try to resolve property and custody issues in a more diplomatic, less stressful way where Daniel would be present to ensure your children’s best interests are maintained throughout the process.
In Regina, Family Law clients are now required to produce a certificate that they have participated in mediation, collaborative law, or arbitration proceedings, approved by the Ministry of Justice, which shows that they have attempted to resolve their disputes before they are allowed to be heard in court.
